A racist flier mailed to Twin Cities addresses attacking presidential candidate Barack Obama and featuring pictures of several African American men, some of whom have been charged with felonies, is being condemned by St. Paul's Congresswoman.

The flier, addressed to "Liberal Democrat" and bearing the heading "Welcome Your New Neighbors," states:

"Thank you for supporting Barack Obama for president of the United States. Being a good Liberal Democrat, like you are, I'm sure you wouldn't mind accepting numerous low and no income Obama constituents as your new neighbors. You many suffer a decrease in your property value and a rise in your property and theft insurance, but it will be worth it to advance intergration (sic)."

The flier includes pictures of five black men, including O.J. Simpson, and Zachary King, of Minneapolis, who was charged in September 2007 with second-degree manslaughter. The flyer does not note that King was found not guilty in April. The flier also includes a picture of Joshua Smith, of St. Paul, recently convicted of two rapes.

Rep. Betty McCollum, a St. Paul Democrat, condemned the flier, saying in a statement: "Those responsible clearly intend to incite fear and hate based on race into this campaign. I am confident Minnesotans will reject this ugly statement."
